The Bal Vatika programme is designed as a preparatory class for children before Grade 1, with a focus on developing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities through fun learning classes. Balvatika-3 started in the year 2023 for children aged 5 and above. There were 38 children, and they had 3 hours of schooling on weekdays. It’s a preschool education and is mandatory for a child before entering Grade 1. We prepared each child with cognitive and linguistic competencies that are prerequisites for learning to read, write, and develop number sense through a play-based approach.
